I'm still not sure if her pose or her right shoe is funnier

Looks like she's telling a BIG story!

This would be typical Kylie

On this day Lance and my Dad drove out to get themselves some oysters. No thank you for the rest of us! I could see Lance getting antsy after the girls went to bed since he had planned on leaving from there in the morning. He got a thought in his head and my Dad and I helped push him for it. He left around 9 pm and headed to his Mom's house in Oregon City for the night. He shaved over 2 hours off his drive that way! I know that helped. He really wanted to get home in time to help with a church event we had on Saturday. He made it!

Grandma Sue had these cute little chairs! Both girls were into them but Kylie staked her claim on this one. Guess we know what someone is getting for Christmas!

Grandma Sue and Lily
Lily is Lance's cousin Jen and her husband Trent's daughter. She is the oldest of the 4 2007 babies in our family

This day we packed up, yet again, to head up to WA and my parents' house. Along the way we stopped long enough so that I could run into a Columbia Outlet (miss those stores!) and get a new fleece zip up. The girls were glad the car ride wasn't as long and so were we. Both girls seemed very excited to see Nannie and Papa and seemed to recognize the house from our visit in July. They acted right at home and settled in.

Kenzie, The Artist, annoyed that I asked her to smile for me

I never would have thought painting a picutre required the instructions "Do not paint your body"

Having a blast. And yes, the paint came RIGHT off with just water

Something else has her attention now!

We spent the day at Grandma Sue's house. The girls love all the toys she has out since she watches the great grandbabies on a regular basis. Lance was able to get out on this day and ride quads and be up in the mountains. He also got to go watch a movie with Brice. I think the girls were a little ticked at him for not spending much time with him this day, but they forgave him!

The girls with thier cousin Henry...they liked each other!

Lance's cousin Jaime and her husband's now oldest son. Their new baby was born this week. Congrats!

Henry and his Grandpa Rob
Henry is Lance's cousin Josh and his wife Michelle's son

We somehow had a crazy enough day that we didn't manage to take any pictures of our own kids! I saw Lance with the camera and assumed he got shots of the girls only to later look and see it was only his cousin's kids. Thankfully someone remembered that Michelle got a couple of great shots of the girls hanging out with Hank. The big bummer was we hardly got to spend any time with them. Its on the list for next time Michelle!!!

Yup, I'm a good Mom. My kid wanted the plastic bag on her head so what do I do about it? Take a picture of her of course!

All I can say is Crazy Kylie

Kylie's adventure with a kleenex
Ok, no one is taking it from me, what can I do?

There's so much of it to have fun with!

Loving that its still in her posession

Maybe she'll just eat it!
Believe it or not, I let her play with it until she climbed down and shredded it to pieces. You're only a kid once, right! I keep reminding myself that. They will never be THIS age again. Let them enjoy it!

These shots were from Day 3. Lance got to enjoy some seafood and the girls and I got to settle into a more normal routine. Much needed!

Its hard work playing. Just ask Little Cindy Lu Who here!

This is Day 2 of our trip. We drove from Klamath Falls to Oregon City, OR and set up camp at Lance's Mom and Step-dad's house. The weather was nice when we got there so the girls immediately went out to play in the yard. They also got to play in what was left of the garden, which included tomoates that they gobbled up and raspberries. They got their pants a little dirty so that would be why they're sporting no pants in all the pics.

I was stuck in the car ALL day. This is the the best look I can give you!

I think we were all ready for a break!

This are from Day 1 of our trip when we drove from Las Vegas to Klamath Falls, OR. We learned that Kylie is NOT a fan of road trips. However, Kenzie wasn't going to fall asleep for anything for fear she might miss our Road Trip.

Home Safe

We made it home safely yesterday. A good night's rest and the boring day to day routine seem to be doing the girls much good. Pictures will come soon. I finally have them all uploaded on the computer but haven't edited yet. That counts a little, right?

Homeward Bound

Just a quick update to let you know that the girls and I are flying home tomorrow. We've all managed to get sick on this trip and even gave it to my Dad! Poor Papa. Anyhow, hopefully by this weekend I'll start to edit and upload all of the pics from when we've been gone.

Enjoying Vacation

We're still alive and enjoying our time with family. We made it to Washington yesterday afternoon and the girls and I will be here until next Wednesday. However, Lance is headed back down to Vegas tomorrow morning. He's going to try it in one day. Pray for his safety!

Last pics for a few days. We are headed out on our road trip up to Oregon and Washington tomorrow. I think our goal is 7 hrs to Reno tomorrow and then the remaining 9 hours to Oregon City/Molalla on Saturday. Pray for us! No, seriously PRAY for us!!! I don't know how we're all going to do on a road trip. It could be the adventure we never repeat. :) I'll be able to update blogs periodically but no new pics until we're at my parents' house and I clog their memory up with my daily pics.

I have no idea what was so interesting. There is the wall and on the ground, landscaping rocks. Not my idea of fun!

Gotcha!

This morning the girls and I headed out for a few last mintues items for our trip. I'm on to laundry and packing. Once Lance gets home tonight we have church and he also still needs to go buy some jeans. I tried the bring them home and let him try them on way of shopping, but 4 pairs of jeans returned later, he finally volunteered to shop himself. Yay!

Sorry these aren't the best. I was playing outside with the girls yesterday afternoon and playing with the camera and suddenly the battery was dead. At least I got OK ones.

What an odd afternoon yet enjoyable! Kylie had been going to bed late for a few nights because we just weren't home at the exact right time and didn't nap well on Sunday. She made up for it! She napped for 3 1/2 full hours yesterday. I was albe to make dinner and pull a chair up to the counter and let Kenzie "help" me. She got a kick out of it! They both love to be in the kitchen but are usually in the way so I have to ask them to move out of the way. Plus letting Ky up on a chair scares me to death so I can't let her see Kenzie do it.
