Oops!

No, we have not fallen off the face of the earth. I've been taking pictures but the weather has been so amazing the last few weeks that we are spending every minute we can outside since the day is coming shortly when we won't want to be out for more than a few minutes at a time! Today is supposed to be very windy and possibly a thunderstorm so maybe I'll get a few days edited and posted to share with you. The girls are doing great and loving being so active. On top of that we're also going to the gym several times a week. They have a killer play center with slides and a bounce house and much more. Kenzie asks me to take them. Kylie doesn't get to enjoy all of the amenities until her birthday in June but in the meantime she does get to play and interact with other one year olds. It has helped tremendously with separation anxiety!

Our playgroup today was a "dress up" playdate. So I do have other pics of the girls but there are other children in the pictures and I don't want to go re-edit to blur their little faces out so this is what you get to see of the day! Sorry.

Today was a good day. I realized as I was fixing Kenzie's hair that after a year of not having enough hair to braid it was long enough! I asked and she obliged sitting patiently as I worked away. It might not have been long but she had a braid! Kylie watched the process and insisted on the same style. I had never tired it on her so I warned that that she had to sit perfectly still or Mommy wouldn't do it. She must have really wanted it because she sat pretty still for her age! She was very pleased and I thought they were both too cute.
We spent the afternoon coloring and attempting to learn the letter "A". Oh well, it made a fun page to color all over!

I had fun with the girls today. I took Kenzie to the new pediatricain for her 3 yr well check. She passed with flying colors. The doctor had a fun program up that compared her current height/weight to what she would be as a 20 yr old with her current stats. She would be 115 lbs and 5'4". I thought that was pretty amusing!
This evening I did not feel like the planned grilled cheese for dinner. So I decided to take advantage of "Kids eat Free" deals while Lance is out of town. The kids thought it would be good to have pancakes for dinner so off we went. They did amazingly well for just me in a restaurant. I can say that I am looking forward to the next dinner date with my girls!

I was having a blast taking pictures of the girls and then the problem hit. My shutter release was disabled. My battery was done. Oh well, still cute pics but I would have loved to have gotten more.
