Kylie's Adventures in Potty Training

Yes its that time. I finally bit the bullet and we are potty training Kylie. I'm about 6 mo later with her than I was with Kenzie. This morning we started the "3-Day Potty Training Method" which we successfully used with Kenzie. I am hoping for lots of sanity on my end and few pairs of undies and accidents on her end!

So far so good. By 9:20 am we have had 1 accident and are on our second pair of undies.

By 4:25 pm all is well - Only 2 wet undies and we decided to do our business in them as well before nap time. All afternoon dry so far and even a "Yes, I would like to go pee pee" request from The Bug. She is proud of herself and we are, too

8pm - All is well at bedtime. Our total undies today was 5. That makes us 4 accidents. If anyone remembers my adventures with Kenzie this is shockingly low. I am very impressed and after today's success plan on venturing to church and the nursery tomorrow. Miss Ky will be allowed to choose between undies or a pull-up for her comfort. However, last week in the nursery she let them take her to the bathroom and stayed dry.

Day 1 = Success!

I think Lance is my biggest fan. He never noticed when I burnt candles in the past. When I ordered my first warmer and scents he was constantly commenting on them and how much he liked them. So, with his support, I decided to start selling the product since we were both such fanatics of the product. I love having something we both enjoy so much and it doesn't feel like work to promote the product.

Question

I'm trying to decide if I want to keep this site and keep updating it. I know most of you are on FaceBook now and keep up with us and view our pictures there. Give me some feedback...are any of you NOT on FB that view? I can always just send you e-mails! Now that we are living back home and most of you see us every few weeks the site has not been used by us very often.

Halloween Pics

If you can't tell from the pictures, the girls had a blast this Halloween. We got to dress up on Friday for our church's fall party and Trick or Treating on Saturday. They love playing dress up so they were thrilled to wear their new pink costumes. We had some good trick or treating too. Our neighborhood doesn't get too many so the neighbors all tried to give the girls too much candy. They had fun but almost as much fun handing out candy and telling our few trick or treaters Happy Halloween!

We were finally able to redeem ourselves with the girls with a trip to a good zoo! We had a blast seeing all of the animals. Can't wait to take the girls to an even bigger zoo the next time. And to top off the visit they got to ride the carousel at the end of our visit. They were so happy! I got a bit dizzy so was glad when the ride was over.

We've moved...again

Sorry for the lack of posts and pictures over the past month or so. I have started back to work all day on Mondays and then 3-5 hours daily Tues-Friday. The rest of my time has been consumed with feeling the need to make for sure the girls know Mommy still loves them even though I'm not with them every waking second of the day anymore. Silly, I know, but I'm slowly getting over it!

Also this past weekend we moved to Olympia. Our place in McCleary was just our temporary place until we got back on our feet. Well, we were at a good point and found an amazing house to rent. The guilt in me is now that I have a 2 min commute to my work and my Mom drives 30 min to us to watch the girls. But, Lance's commute has gone down by an hour daily and we are looking forward to some much needed quality family time and are enjoying room to spread out. Great timing with the holidays right around the corner!
